About the training program

Proteins are the most complex molecules of life. Using Genetic Engineering, it is now possible to produce recombinant proteins with higher stability and activity. Such an approach has been used to produce several recombinant proteins such as insulin, growth hormone, blood clotting factors, and enzymes. Generally, recombinant proteins are purified using nickel affinity
chromatography. The aim of the training program is to offer life science students hands on training in protein extraction and purification.
